8 Ways to Invite Abundance for the New Year 2015

Welcoming New Year always marks a new beginning for each one of us. Starting fresh means making changes that will hopefully bring us more blessings in the year to come. In Feng Shui terms it means ushering in new energy to bring in abundance and success. Philippine Feng Shui Expert, Master Hanz Cua recommends that you include these 8 essential tips to observe when welcoming New Year 2015:

1)      General Cleaning and Cleansing. Prepare your home by doing a general cleanup of both the inside and the outside of your house. Clean up any clutters that are lying around inside the house and get rid of broken appliances or gadgets. Broken objects and shabby surroundings invite poverty.  Do your cleaning before New Year’s day itself. When all is done, “cleanse” the premises by burning incense.

Business and Investment Forecast for 2015
by Master Hanz Cua

Lucky Business for 2015

The Year of the Wood Sheep is a year that you should invest on businesses that are connected to the Element of Wood. Wood industry covers the following: Furniture, Paper, Rubber, Tree Plantation, Carton, Flower Shop, Magazines, and Newspaper.

Predictions for 2015 The Year of the Wood Sheep

2014 has been a year of turmoil. It belongs to the Wood Horse, an animal that's aggressive and fast-moving. Under the Wood Horse, wars and terrorist movements dominated the international headlines. Here in the Philippines, controversial findings involving prominent political figures came into the spotlight. We experienced extreme hot weather, while crimes involving bloodshed, robbery and accidents with our public commuter systems caused great concern among Filipinos. Global health scares like the Ebola virus have threatened us as well.

Master Hanz’ Year of the Wood Sheep 2015 Forecast

The Flying Stars Method of FengShui is one of the oldest and most accuratesystem in FengShui practice. According to the Flying Star technique you can divide your home’s floor planinto nine energy “sectors”. Each sector, depending on which direction it is located, contains a different type of energy that is eithervery good, good, moderate, bad or very bad. By figuring out where the “good” and “bad” sectors of your home lie, you can see which room or part of the house contains the most auspicious energy.

Love Forecast for 2015

Love makes the world go round, and for people looking for it, or even couples who experience challenges in their relationship, Feng Shui has tips, cures and enhancers that can help you to attain your heart’s desires.

Making Christmas Celebration Joyful and Prosperous

The Philippines has the longest Christmas celebration in the world. Every Pinoy finds time, no matter where they are, or what they are doing, to come together as a family. We celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and share with our loved ones the blessings we have worked for and received throughout the year.

Is Feng Shui practice compatible with Christmas? Psychic and Feng Shui expert, Master Hanz Cua says, “Absolutely!” Feng Shui is all about bringing good chi (cosmic energy) into our life. Christmas is a perfect time to invite prosperity into our homes. As we make our plans to get together with our families to make merry, we can also put some Feng Shui touches into our holiday.

The Christmas Tree. In Feng Shui , trees generally symbolize abundance. Green color denotes wealth, and the evergreen tree, which is commonly used, means affluence that lasts a long, long time. The tree should be tall, at least higher than the tallest person in the home. The tree’s size signifies abundance. Decorate generously with Christmas balls, sparkly trimmings and lights. The grander and more colorful your tree, the more positive chi you will attract into your home.

Gifts. Sometimes, people like to display “faux” gift boxes at the foot of the tree. According to Feng Shui belief, this should not be: an empty box is just a shell. A hollow container symbolizes zero abundance. The gift boxes you put under your tree must have something in them.

Christmas balls. When decorating using Christmas balls, Master Hanz advises that you follow the Five Element formula of Feng Shui by using all the five colors that represent each element.

Fire-red, yellow, orange, pink

Water- blue, purple

Metal-gold, silver

Wood-green

Earth-crystal, stones

Bright Lights. Light symbolizes “yang” energy. It is lively and vibrant and makes people bubbly and social. So, more lights mean more joyful feelings for all. Christmas lights on the main door or front of the house beckon positive chi to come in. Parols that light up are particularly auspicious décor to hang on the eaves of your house and on the windows.

Other meaningful decorations that invite abundance:

Wreaths-the green color signifies wealth.

Poinsettias-their bright red leaves signify fire, auspicious energy and happiness.

The Belen-the manger scene depicting the newborn Christ surrounded by his Mary, Joseph and other biblical characters is a display that uplifts the spiritual feelings of people who look at it. Even as we invite prosperity we must not forget the reason for the season.

Banapple
pies and cheesecakes

I've been visiting this restaurant many times now. But what I've like the most of this restaurant is their good customer service especially when they refilling your glass of water not even ask to do it when they saw your glass was empty of water, they don’t have service charge but they are awesome in terms of customer services. One of the bestseller in their menu are the pies and cakes, I like all the pies and cakes that I've tried, so good to satisfy my sweet tooth. Most of my visit is at their branch in Tuscany Mckinley Hill, the place is near our office for about 3 to 4 minutes’ walk.

My Sydney Trip Photo Collections - Food Trip

All photos are taken from my 2012 trip in Sydney Australia, Sorry if I was not able to provide the name of the restaurant or fast food chain of some food because I've already forgot but If you know, you can put comment and I will update.

Silantro
Fil-Mex Cantina

After our sweet tasting at egg it, we decided to walk around Kapitolyo to find a restaurant to feed our stomach for dinner. So, after 30 minutes walked around while seeing some restaurants we end up in Silantro, our first reaction "wow, blockbuster" then when I asked the last number in their list for waiting, it was a total of 10 waiting to be seated so I asked the waiter to add my name next. Checking the place, they have 12 to 13 tables and the place was near the church, some people that are visiting the church will possible eat at Silantro after the mass.

Egg-it

Hong Kong Style Waffle with a Twist

After our weekend work, we've decided to visit Kapitolyo in Pasig to check and try one of the popular waffles in social media, Egg-it Hong Kong style waffle. We are expecting that the place is huge or can accommodate more than 20 customer but we are wrong, upon seeing the place, they have three tables and can accommodate like 15 customers but like what other says, it is not the place it is the taste of the food they served and how their customers enjoy it and loved it.

Pancake House

After HP Fun Run 2014 at BGC Turf, my colleagues decided to eat but we are not sure where to eat and what are the restaurants open that time. I think it was around 7 am, we walked around the Bonifacio High Street and we saw Pancake House is open that time and all of us agreed to eat at Pancake House because they served good food.

Team out of town at Tagaytay City

Because of our busy work schedule, we've decided to relax, chill out and enjoy our rest day outside Metro Manila. That day was one of the memorable day for me because that was my first time to drive my car from Cavite to Manila to meet my teammates. I’m not too scared but happy because I've made it.

Yakimix
Sushi, Smokeless Grill, Restaurant

This is a eat-all-you can restaurant that serves Japanese/Korean/Chinese even Filipino and American food. Yakimix is located at Greenbelt 3 near Red Box. Why we went to Yakimix? Because it’s our team ‘coffee talk’, usually when we have our ‘coffee talk’ there is a program and management update by the leadership team, but this time it’s only a dinner buffet (sit and eat with your respective team). This is not my first time at Yakimix, and I always want to go back because of their sushi with many selection and off course the taste of their sushi was also good.

Chicken & Beer

This is our first time at Chicken & Beer, I remembered in many scene of My Love from the Star (Korean Drama), Steffi Cheon always bought chicken and beer and even Matteo Do. Maybe because the chicken and beer is one of the popular restaurant in South Korea. And yes the taste of their chicken was good, we've tried their Paris Chicken (Pan fried wings with special spicy soy sauce and pepper and chili) and it is not complete without rice, so we ordered Vegetable Fried Rice. After the awesome chicken meal food, it’s time for dessert and we bought Korean Ice cream (Melona, Pangtoa and I forgot the name of the other ice cream written in Korean language).

Papa John’s Pizza
Better Ingredients. Better Pizza.
“Our dough is always fresh, never frozen.”

After work, we've decided to eat pizza at Papa John’s Pizza in Greenbelt 3 for our snacks. Papa John’s Pizza served pizza, pasta, salad and desserts. We ordered one of their promo for that day, the Mythical 5! Includes 14” party pizza – Super Papa pizza, 1 set of potato wedges, 3 orders of pasta – three cheese, hot salad and crab meat, and 5 regular sodas. The total price for Mythical 5 promo is 999 pesos only.

Off the Grid
street eats

This is a fast food chain that served mostly Mexican food like burrito and quesadillas. At first, when we entered in this fast food chain we saw a mini bus where the kitchen is located. This means that the interior design is very unique compare to other fast food chain although the price of the food is expensive but the taste was good.

Zark's Burger
IT'S FRESH. IT'S HUGE. IT'S GREAT

Zark's Burgers has an impressive menu of zesty, succulent dishes. Try out our generous servings of different meals – from rice meals, sandwiches, desserts, and of course, our famous burgers.

Chef Lau’s Pugon Roasters
Fast Good – Fine dining quality food at a fast food price served at a fast food pace!

Chef Lau's Pugon Roasters is a "FAST GOOD" restaurant that serves firebrick oven-roasted traditional Pinoy dishes like roast chicken, pork liempo, beef, and other great stuff at a very affordable price made special by one of the best chefs in the country. It's Pinoy food with interesting twists!

Dinner at Manam
Comfort Filipino Food

After one hour of walking and checking were to eat around Glorietta and Greenbelt for our dinner. We end up at Manam, a comfort Filipino food. After checking their not so commonly used menu name, I remembered one of their popular menu, sinigang with pakwan and it was also featured in one of the popular food show, Pop Talk by Kuya Tonipet. And yes, we ordered that one and also the pekeng fried chicken, bagoong rice and halo halo. We all loved the taste of their sinigang like what kuya topinet said, #popnapop. All dishes are available in small, medium and large sizes.

Ice Skating at SM Megamall

Movie Stars Café

They offer buffet and alacarte plus musical show while enjoying your food. At first glimpse, I've thought that only children will enjoy this place but even us adults was amazed with the place maybe because we are young at heart J, you can also see movies you've watched before that are posted in their wall, some favorite human sized characters and some live scene from your favorite movies. You also have a chance to meet the stars of each musical shows like Spiderman, super girl and a lot more.

Dinner @ Icings
Cakes Breads and Cafe

Office mates - Ada, Ron and Jeff

Mad Mark's Creamery and Good Eats

This is my third time at Mad Mark's but first time at this branch, why I always go back here? Because of their famous dessert, homemade ice cream available only at Mad Mark's. Mad Mark's also known for their Grilled Steak, a choice of sauce and two side dish. So, what is the usual ordered of their customer? Steak and ice cream for dessert. But they also served different meal like chicken meal, salad, fries and a lot more.

Tim Ho Wan
(Hong Kong’s Most Famous Michelin Star Dim Sum)

I have been waiting this for a week to try the famous Baked Bun with BBQ Pork in Tim Ho Wan restaurant at SM Megamall, and yes the taste was good especially the crunchy and sweetness of the bun. Aside from baked bun we also ordered other food like wasabi salad prawn dumpling (the taste is like cali maki), glutinous rice with lotus leaf (sticky rice with meat inside), rice with chicken, sausage and mushroom (rice with toppings), rice with beef and fried egg (rice with toppings) and poached fresh seasonal vegetable (lettuce with sauce).

The Burgery
(The Bad Boys of Burger)

My Friday food trip with my colleagues at The Burgery, this is my first time here and excited to try their burger. I ordered one of the bestseller burger, Asiong Salonga burger (one of their premium burger) but on that time that burger is not available. Then I decided to ordered Fat Tony burger and it was good - 100% pure beef patty, onion relish, lettuce, tomato, cheese, bacon.

Ssup Bro?!?! Bronuts!

After office, I and my colleagues went to SM Aura for window shopping :), actually they bought some clothes at Uniqlo. After that we walked around SM Aura to check some restaurant that we can try for our next visit probably next pay day.

Dinner at Bag O' Shrimps

Not sure if this is still a dinner or a midnight snacks, me and my office mates decided to have a dinner at Tuscany Mckinley Hill, if I still remembered it was at 8 PM but because they are all busy at work we end up at 11 pm. Then we went down in our building and we started to walked around Tuscany and we are still lucky because some restaurants are still open at that time. After 15 minutes of walked and thinking where to eat, we end up at Bag O' Shrimps. This is our first time and we are excited to taste their foods and what they can offer to their customers. When we entered the crews are watching a movie but I forgot the title :) , one of the crew said that they are still open until 12 midnight.
