An Australian Organic Café and Resto


Potts Point Café is an Australian inspired organic café. It takes its name from a popular suburb of Sydney renowned for its vibrant restaurant, bar and café scene. Most coffee shops don’t do much with food and most restaurants don’t worry about coffee. An Australian Café gives equal importance to coffee and food. It’s a hybrid of two establishment. Food is intended to nourish our bodies and not to harm it.




A coffee shop with a variety of food that used organic ingredients from Australia. This is not a coffee shop that you can only enjoy a coffee but they also served many dish. Their coffee is a product of Delano, the number one coffee maker in Australia. What makes Potts Point Café different with other coffee shop, for me is their variety of food/drink selections and the ingredients that they used are more of organic. 



The place can accommodate approximately 60 pax inside the café and approximately 30 pax outside the café. Potts Point Café was located near the Mall of Asia Bayside where you can see the view of the Manila to witness the sunset. The place was decorated of big photo frames on the wall of their best sellers food, the kitchen is actually open and somewhat elevated so when you see it, looks like a stage in the center of the café that you can see what they are doing and how they are busy preparing your food. 


Potts Point Café in SM Mall of Asia is their newly opened branch and some bloggers was invited including me to try their food and to check the place. And that day the owner together with the chef of Potts Point Café prepared a simple program for the ribbon cutting.



There is a slow motion in terms of the service, maybe because it is a new café and maybe some of the staff are new, we did experienced delayed of service or maybe they did not expect the volume of their guest that time. But what other’s said, it’s worth the wait. 

Now, let me begin my food review and experienced. First of all, I want to tell everyone what is the best dish for me that I have tried that day.


I really like the way they cook and prepared the baked sweet potato wedges, which is served with tomato ketchup and sprinkle with sugar. 


The next best dish for me is Shakshuka, with organic pork sausage and organic eggs with Toasted Baguette. Shakshuka look like a red spaghetti sauce with meat although the taste is really different maybe because of the organic ingredients. And yes that was really good and we all like it.


And the last dish that I like also is their Salad because of the good combination of crispy wanton and grilled chicken, the name of their salad is Thai Chopped Salad with grilled chicken, crispy wanton and pomelo. But I suggest that they put sweet/sour taste pomelo not bitter taste.

Australian Grass-fed All Beef Burger with Australian Cheddar, Pickled Beets, Olive Oil Aioli and House-made Brioche Bun with Baked Sweet Potato Wedges.

Banana Peanut Butter Stuffed French Toast with Whipped Cream and Palm Syrup

Roast Australian Lamb with Bone Marrow with Brown Rice and Demiglace

Baked Prawn Thermidore Shepherd’s Pie with Garden Salad

Risotto
Melange of Seafood Provencale with Brown  Rice Risotto

Dessert
Strawberry, Kiwi and Mango Trifle with Light Vanila Custard and Cookie

English Sticky Toffee Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream

Affogato

Iced Delano Coffee Latte

Smoothies
Breakfast Smoothie, combination of banana, almonds and oats.

For my drink, I ordered Banana Berry and it was also good and refreshing, a combination of blackberry, strawberry and banana.
