Summer in the Philippines is one of the most awaited seasons in the country, where everyone is so excited to go on a road trip and of course go to a different beach destination of their choice. Quezon Province is on the top of the list for this where we can find the prime beach club of Balesin Island Resort. But aside from this world class resort, there are a lot of beach places one can visit in Quezon, which is equally gorgeous like the one in Balesin Island, but in the most affordable way possible and the experience of serene beach life is the best. I'm referring to the Island craze of Jomalig Island.

Last June 11, 2016, a day before the celebration of our Independence Day. NutriAsia's Datu Puti Adobo Challenge last leg of cook-off for the best Adobo dish at the Mercato Centrale food market in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

We know that Adobo is one of our cultural gastronomic heritage, because of that, NutriAsia’s Datu Puti put Pinoys to task in finding and feting the best adobo recipes at the recent Datu Puti Adobo. This challenge was also co-presented with Mercato Central and Our Awesome Planet. The Datu Puti Adobo Challenge was part of the thrust to take the Datu Puti Adobo Movement a step further this 2016. Launched in 2015, the Datu Puti Adobo Movement was created to push for Adobo to be our pambansang ulam ( the national dish). It is a movement that hits close to home because Adobo is a dish that is as personal, as it is national. Each household has its own signature Adobo, and the shared flavor defines families, identifies us as Filipinos, and boosts us as a nation. This event is also supported by partners Philippine Culinary Heritage Movement (PCHM) and the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP).

Be inspired, be proud, and know your past and the greatness of our heroes. Pilipinas HD will showcase the best and the brightest not only among the country’s revered and known heroes but will also showcase the extraordinary deeds of ordinary Filipinos who have made a difference in the lives of others and their communities.

Just when television content is known to seek the negative, Pilipinas HD seeks to redefine and retool Filipino viewers with heart-warming and features and narratives of what makes the Filipino a great race.

I was invited to the recent event of Alviera, the world’s first game show-inspired playground called Alviera Go Play. I was able to try different activities of Alviera Go Play together with my fellow bloggers, the event started at 8 AM for the registration of the participants were many people attended of Alviera Go Play because of its unique creations, the coolest activities line-up that day. The organizer is planning on bringing this kind of event to Manila but no specific dates were given yet. Meanwhile at the event, all their guest tried all the activities from kids to adults, some activities available in Alviera Go Play brings back memories of my childhood where everything is a play and fun outside. I must say that this event is so cool and fantastic. Some of the activities that we used to do were given some twist to make it more exciting and more challenging that test our endurance and patience. The event was held in Sandbox at Porac Pampanga.

A few weeks back some of my colleagues launched a 3 day trip to Boracay, a prime beach island destination in our very own the Philippines. The first time I visited Boracay, I did not try the water sports activities instead I go for a food trip and swim on the beach. Alviera Go Play will be open from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Saturday, June 11, 2016, in Sandbox Alviera in Porac, Pampanga. The Go Play area set up takes cues from popular TV shows like Takeshi’s Castle, Wipeout and Gladiators. Here, fun is taken to a whole new level with bouncy inflatables, foam, relay games, mental challenges and a bunch of wacky games you can enjoy with your friends.
