I've been seeing this hotel at the corner of Jupiter and Makati Ave. but this is the first time I'll be staying here. It's not hard to find, as it is located near commercial and business establishments in Makati. This is the reason why some travelers and families would like to stay at Jupiter Suites Hotel. Most of the establishments like a fast-food chain, coffee-shop are open 24/7 and even the Tiange and food stall. If you are a party goer, Jupiter Suites Hotel are very near to some popular bar in the Metro.
Del Monte Philippines encourages employees to go home early to be with their families. From the small side streets to the country’s major highways, it’s almost a given nowadays for people to experience traffic - with a 30-minute ride turning into a nightmarish 2 hours, especially during the dreaded rush hours.
Because of this, hard-working employees lose precious time. They get home too late for dinner. Worse, they would inevitably have less energy for family bonding. Consequently, family members seem to have less time to catch up on each other’s lives.
Last October 28, 2015, ‘Reel Time: Bamboo’, a documentary produced and broadcast by GMA Network, has won the 2015 Asia-Pacific Child Rights Award for Television. The programme follows the lives of three boys who earn a living by cutting down bamboo poles on the mountainside and carrying them back home.
One of the three boys, RJ, was hit by a motorcycle when he was eight years old. Although he survived the accident, he lost his hearing. “We cut down the bamboo, then walk a long way back home carrying heavy bamboo poles on our shoulders,” RJ, now 15, says in sign language. “We do this so we will have money for food. I envy other kids who can play all day, but I can’t. I need to go up the mountain to get bamboo.”
A Family Weekday Getaway
Last May 2, 2012, our families
went to Pansol Calamba Laguna for a day tour swimming. We’ve stay at Carpio’s Private
Resort, I think they have a website to check for the rates and photos gallery
of the place. Family trip are always memorable and the happiest time of our
life. My father grilled fish and barbecue, some are singing, playing billiards, eating and off course playing and swimming at the pool with slide. At the second floor of the room, you can see the Mt. Makiling. We stayed from 7:30 AM until 3:30 PM at the resort, then we went to Los Banos Laguna to buy some delicacies and their popular Buko Pie at Orient - The Original Buko Pie Bakeshop. Then time to go home but when we reached Alabang we went to ATC (Alabang Town Centre) to buy Gong cha milk tea (5 winter melon and 2 pearl milk tea) and BonChon Chicken (chicken wings). Then around 7:00 PM we reached our house, some are tired but happy on that day.
