Oh My Gulay

Eating Healthy Food in Baguio City, the Summer Capital of the Philippines at Oh My Gulay

When we arrived in Baguio City (Summer Capital of the Philippines), we decided to eat at Oh My Gulay for our lunch before we go to Camella (#camellagoespanagbenga) booth at SM Baguio for the Kapuso Nigh Event. Oh My Gulay is located at Top Floor in La Azotea Building, Session Road, Baguio City. The place was surrounded of paintings and was build using old woods. If you will tour around this place, you will notice that the whole place was actually looks like you were in a ship.

After we have seated, we've checked their menu and ordered their some healthy and good food, while waiting for our food to serve, we took some photos of the place.

After the time that they are serving our food, we are so excited to taste all of it but being a blogger, we have to take pictures of each dishes to post in our blog, for the sake of blogging. And we also take that opportunity to have our first group picture with the help of Oh My Gulay staff.

Below are the following food that we ordered;

OMG Salad, OMG trademark salad of assorted greens, served with their blend of herb honey mustard dressing. All greens are fresh and crunchy, I like how they served this salad and the dressings was good also.

Lumpia Salad, crispy tofu rolls on a bed of mixed greens tossed with honey mustard and Asian dressings. The taste was like OMG salad but the only difference is it has fried lumpia which is also a good combination when you want meat in your salad.

Oh My Gulay Rice, native brown rice with ten vegetables in season mixed with OMG Mongolian sauce, topped with steamed tofu and omelet. This one is really good, like a fried rice or rice toppings in a healthy way because of the brown rice. No need for other viand.

OMG Club Sandwich, double-decker sandwich of plum tomatoes, cucumber and fried egg with mixed greens. Haven’t tried this sandwich because I started to eat rice and salad but of my colleague was able to taste this sandwich and he said that it was good if they will add additional meat but because they want to make it as healthy as possible they put more greens and only egg.

Anak ng Putanesca, their version of putanesca, enriched with a hint of cayenne pepper. The sauce was good but we we’re disappointed with the pasta because it was overcooked or they just re-heat the pasta, hopefully they improve the way they cook or the way they served their pasta.

Mushroom Onion Crepe, three kinds of mushroom, caramelized onions and cheddar, topped with garlic sour cream and yoghurt sauce. This is very new to me and even the taste was so different but we all like it and this dish was first to finish off.

For our drink, most of us ordered Dayap Iced Tea, lime-infused brewed iced tea. At first sip, nothing really special even the time I finished it, like a normal iced tea.

The price is not expensive and it was worth to pay, they served more greens and why it is not expensive maybe because greens in Baguio are cheaper compare to other places. :)

After we tasted all the food, we decided to walked around the place again and continuous our picture taking in the place before we leave Oh My Gulay
