TRAVEL GUIDE: Kalanggaman and Cuatro Islas Itinerary in Tacloban City

I was with my officemates that became my friends, this was our first ever trip by air. Before the day of our travel, we make sure that all are well prepared from the travel essentials to the place where we'll stay and to the places that we will visit.

Our 3 days’ vacation trip to Tacloban City

On our Day 1, we arrived at Daniel Z. Romualdez Airport at exactly 12:30 AM, from the airport we went to the jeepney terminal, Ooops! That time of our visit to Tacloban City the President of the Philippines is also there we even have a chance to take a photo of the presidential airplane. We took a jeepney ride going to our hotel (Go Hotels), from the airport we stopped in front of Natasha Building (8 pesos Jeepney Ride), then we cross the street and took a multi-cab ride going to our hotel (Go Hotels) which is beside the Robinsons Mall (7 pesos Multi Cab ride). At exactly 2:00 PM, we arrived at our hotel and went through the reception for check-in. Then we went to our room and place our things, after that we went to Robinson Mall and ate at Hukad restaurant.

We finished our lunch at around 3:30 PM, then we went back to our hotel for freshening up. But because we are already late to our plan and the two places that we will visit that time are in different areas. We choose between San Juanico Bridge and MacArthur Landing Memorial Park. Guess what? We’ve decided to go to MacArthur Landing Memorial Park.

From our hotel, we took a multi-cab ride to Philippine Science High School (8 pesos multi-cab ride) then from PhilSci we took a tricycle to MacArthur Landing Memorial Park (10 pesos tricycle ride). That time, there is an ongoing mass for the victim of the typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda).

After our visit to MacArthur Landing Memorial Park, we walked back to rotunda (PhilSci) instead of taking a tricycle ride. It was already 6:30 PM, then we all agreed to eat at Ayo Café for our dinner, from the rotunda to Ayo Café we rented a tricycle for 100 pesos that time no multi-cab passing by the area that will go to the place where Ayo Café is located. Then we went back to our hotel, took a multi-cab ride (8 pesos) from Ayo Café.
